Breastfeeding Consultations

As new mothers, few of us are fully prepared for how profound and demanding our new role is. These early days are often filled with questions and concerns.

Support and guidance from a skilled lactation consultant can make all the difference as babies learn the new skill of breastfeeding.

We offer private, in-home breastfeeding consultations from an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant to help you and your baby when questions or difficulties arise.

We offer patience, empathy, and expert guidance to help you meet your baby’s needs. We will help you succeed as a mother regardless of the course of your breastfeeding journey. We respect and honor the individual circumstances, needs, and goals of each mother and family. We use our training and our experience with thousands of new families to help you and your baby thrive.

We have earned the trust of pediatricians because our first priority is that babies grow and thrive. Because of our skill set, we are able to do this in a way that also supports a mother’s breastfeeding goals.

HIPPA-compliant virtual consultations available.

We’ve now achieved our goal of exclusive breastfeeding

“Amber was really the best thing to happen to our family after a difficult pregnancy and birth.  We really thought breastfeeding would come easy, and when it didn't, we were devastated.  Amber worked with us weekly for several weeks to help our baby learn to nurse and to help us support her while she learned.  We've now achieved our goal of exclusive breastfeeding and it would not have been possible without Amber's support."

11 months later we are going strong!

“Amber was amazing. I experienced tremendous damage early in the process and she sat with me and listened to me cry about how difficult it all was. She worked with us and saved my nursing experience. 11 months later we are going strong!”

I found support, comfort, and a path forward the way I was happy with. I am still so thankful that Amber was able to help me.

“I was at my wits end when I visited you with my second child who was not latching well last fall. I found support, comfort, and a path forward the way I was happy with. I am still so thankful that Amber was able to help me. She is the reason I didn't stop when my son was two weeks old and the reason I was able to breastfeed my son for over a year now 🙂 Thank you again!”

My baby is now gaining weight, feeding well and my milk supply is great

“Amber did an amazing job of supporting me and giving me information to help me have a successful breastfeeding relationship with my baby. My baby had a bad latch and my milk was not coming in on time. Without Amber's help, I would not have been able to continue breastfeeding. She was professional and supportive and kept my hopes up that things would improve. My baby is now gaining weight, feeding well and my milk supply is great.”

… breastfeeding has been great and I look forward to breastfeeding my next child!

“I'd always wanted to breastfeed, since I was young. I thought it would be easier than it was. You helped me feel very comfortable, you showed me how to breastfeed, told me what I needed to know, and had the enthusiasm I needed to get over my discouragement. If I hadn't talked to you, I would have given up. As a result, breastfeeding has been great and I look forward to breastfeeding my next child!”
